Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use Charttoolbox and what you can expect from our free chart tools.

1. Who operates Charttoolbox

Charttoolbox is operated by 张欣 (Zhang Xin), an individual operator, also known as Selah. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to this individual operator. These Terms of Service apply to www.charttoolbox.com and its chart tools and guides (the “Service”). Contact us at 524736248@qq.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. You must be legally able to agree to these terms; if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Optional analytics is subject to your separate choice in Cookie settings.

3. What the Service provides

Charttoolbox creates heatmaps, pie and donut charts, bar charts, line charts, scatter plots, histograms, and correlation matrices from CSV, TSV, XLS/XLSX, or pasted table data. It provides chart settings, sample data, guides, and PNG/SVG exports. Supported data structures and limits are explained within each tool.

Spreadsheet processing and chart generation take place in your browser. No account is required, and there is no cloud project storage. Keep your original files and download your charts before leaving the page. The chart tools do not send your data to AI models.

4. Pricing, payments, cancellation, and refunds

The current Service is free of charge for personal, academic, and commercial visualization work. We do not currently sell subscriptions, credits, or paid plans, collect payment details, or charge recurring fees. There is no subscription to cancel and no purchase to refund. You may stop using the Service at any time.

If paid features are introduced, their prices, payment provider, delivery, cancellation, and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase. Using today's free tools does not authorize any future charge. If you believe you have received a charge claiming to be from Charttoolbox, contact 524736248@qq.com; do not send full payment card details.

5. Your data and generated charts

You retain your rights in your data and generated charts, subject to any third-party rights in that data. We do not claim ownership of your files, pasted values, or exports. You may use exported charts for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for permission to process the data and for checking labels, calculations, scales, and conclusions before sharing a chart.

The website's code, branding, and original educational content remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Permission to use the tools does not transfer ownership of the website or its branding.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully. Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, create fraudulent or deliberately misleading representations of data, distribute malicious code, interfere with other visitors, bypass security controls, or use automated requests that disrupt the website. You must not impersonate the operator or misrepresent an affiliation with Charttoolbox.

7. Accuracy and professional advice

Charts and guides are analytical aids. A correlation or visible association does not establish causation. Sample data is fictional and provided for demonstration. The Service is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Check important results independently and consult an appropriately qualified professional when needed.

8. Availability and limitations of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free results, or compatibility with every file or browser. Features may change, and maintenance or technical problems may interrupt access.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, including lost profits or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

9. Ending use and restricting access

You may end your use by closing the website. There is no Charttoolbox account to delete. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a serious breach of these terms, security threats, or legal requirements. Requests concerning support correspondence or other personal information can be sent to the contact address below.

10. Changes and disputes

We will update the version and effective date when these terms change. For material changes affecting ongoing use, we will provide a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect, unless an earlier change is required by law or to address an urgent security issue. Any paid offering will require its own clearly disclosed purchase terms.

If a dispute arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. This does not restrict your right to pursue remedies available under applicable law. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
